Description
Mifare 1K S50 RF thin card uses the original Philips (NXP) Mifare IC S50 chip, which complies with the IEC/ISO 14443A interface protocol. It has advanced data encryption and two-way password verification system, and 16 completely independent sectors, with high stability and a wide range of applications, is the enterprise card, water meter prepaid, bus stored value card, highway toll, parking lot, community management, transportation card, park, highway and other preferred RFID products.
1. Memory
1 KB EEPROM memory :
Divided into 16 sectors, each containing 4 blocks (a total of 64 blocks).
Each sector is protected by two keys (A and B) for secure read/write access.
Suitable for storing user credentials, access permissions, or small amounts of data.
2. Security
Uses CRYPTO1 encryption for authentication and data security.
Each card has a unique 4-byte UID (Unique Identifier).
Includes anti-cloning mechanisms to protect against unauthorized duplication.
3. Passive RFID Technology
Powered by the electromagnetic field generated by the RFID reader (no battery required).
Ensures long-lasting performance with no maintenance needed.
4. Data Transfer Speed
High communication speed of up to 106 Kbps, enabling efficient data processing.

NXP Mifare 1k S50 is fully compatible FM11RF08. The performance, application, and usage method of the FM11RF08 chip are exactly the same as those of the Mifare 1k S50. However, since the Mifare 1k S50 is an originally imported chip, there are many additional costs such as customs duties, so its price is relatively high. In contrast, the FM11RF08 is manufactured in mainland China, with lower production costs and more competitive prices. Therefore, in more and more systems, the FM11RF08 chip is being used to replace the Mifare 1k S50.
